On 1st of June AMS and STAMI held an hands on PIMEX course hosted by Hydro Aluminium Sunndal. The aim was to boost the use of PIMEX at our plant also to get more comfortable using the equipment.
We started in a classroom with plant presentation on how each plant has used the PIMEX until now and what challenges have come up.
Statens arbeidsmiljøinstitutt (STAMI) did an introduction on what is new with the equipment and general use of the PIMEX. After that everyone started up there equipment, we had Nils Petter Skaugset and Ole Synnes from STAMI to help with the start ups and smaller fixes.
We also had demonstration of heat stress measurements and did some ergonomics measurements in the potline. Everyone that wanted to measure under the supervision of STAMI was able to.
This is a follow up from the PIMEX project 2006-2012.
